Microsoft’s Having a Rough Day Thanks to the Syrian Electronic Army

The Syrian Electronic Army is taking credit for the attack, but Microsoft says the situation is under control and no customer data was compromised.

In my opinion the security holes or weakness brought upon by NSA in encryption topology and anything called “Security” will cause even more attacks in the future. Software should not have any backdoor, weakness or security hole that government and non-authorized people can use to either disrupt, damage or attack a system. If you plug all the holes then you make it 100 times harder for anyone to enter and because of how hard it is to enter only the ones who really want to do create havoc will keep going but others that would do it for fun or notoriety would just fall off. Now, the ones with ill intent would eventually be caught because now by the time they get into the system the trace would have had found them and pin point there exact location, at least i would hope. So, the moral of the story, plug the holes in order to make it way harder for breaches. With that we would truly be more secure, not less or a false since of security, and governments would have to actually use specific warrants and/or subpoenas for personal records from companies.
